And now it begins ...
The Consequences of Election 2006
John Bolton resigns rather than face humiliation at the hands of Democrats.
Illegal immigrants to gain amnesty/citizenship under Democrat majority.
Michael Moore threatens Democrats if troops are not brought home NOW.
Castro's brother wants to do business - Democrats thought more receptive.
Democrats to restrict domestic terror surveillance.
Wal-Mart girds for Democrat assault from all directions.
I am not about to even try and keep up with all the damage the Democrats will do over the next couple of years. There are news sites that will be forced to list them daily, because it will be news. Suffice it say, that the Democrats are not only going to try and inflict as much of their socialist agenda upon this nation as quickly as possible, they are are hell bent to undo everything accomplished by the Right over the last decade. I will, occasionally, demonstrate the actual frequency and stridency in the Left's efforts. Are you REALLY ready for what is about to transpire?
Really?
People need to shut up about Wal-Mart. I did one hell of a study on it and was floored at its business ethic.
If you want to pay big bucks, don't shop there. If you want to gripe about it, shut up and go check it out with some real research.

Question: Suppose we do start doing business with Cuba? I mean, dump past grievances and actually open up trade. Would the world fall apart?

No, but Cuba is already starting to seek patents on that which Castro stole over the last 40 years.
Like Rum and cigars.
Screw that, if we let 'em start that crap, it'll be just like the Muslims - subversion through abusing our largesse.

Seems to me we could control that stuff better if we opened things up a bit.

Should we suffer another terrorist attack on our shores, and it is revealed that Democrat practices/tendencies played a significant role in the attack's success, well, there will be a number of angry people, to say the least.
