Hmmm, it's kind of like you can't get a treatment that you want because your insurance company won't bet on it. If I recall correctly, the NHS will bar you from any other of the services they provide if you go outside of their dominion. I think they offer this kind of cancer treatment for a price somewhere in Loma Linda California.

If I'm not mistaken, if a doctor takes private patients in Canada - they are no longer allowed to take subsidized patients.
Does that make any sense in any realm?
They will do that here, as well, count on it.

My brother had a quadruple coronary bypass about 15 years ago. He lives in Canada. He gets checkups at the Cleveland clinic. May be he had the bypass stateside, too. He's got plenty of good Scots blood in his veins though, so I can't imagine him passing up free healthcare. It's not really free you know:-)
