I like that Insurgents, Narcotics and Popular support are all on the same side of this crazy, convuluted grid. It does have some resemblance to your 'this' link except, I see one as stagnant and the other as frenetic; all going nowhere no time soon.

Go rent the fine movie "Man Who Would Be King" (1975) with Sean Connery and Michael Caine.

..... same problems there now as 150 years ago.....
