Thugz in da 'hood!

SEIU 1

From Big Government...

It has been more than three months since Kenneth Gladney was viciously attacked by SEIU employees. The assault wasn’t an accident, but a deliberate attempt to intimidate and silence tea party activists and town hall protesters. The morning of the Gladney assault, the White House presented to Senate Democrats a ‘battle plan’ to quell the protests. The White House advised Democrats “punch back twice as hard.” Gladney was the first casualty.

The Gladney beating took place at a forum on ‘Aging’, sponsored by Rep. Russ Carnahan. Carnahan had been caught flat-footed by earlier protests. This time he was more prepared; the day before the forum, Sara Howard took over as his communications director. Ms. Howard is a veteran leftist activist, holding senior positions with SEIU.

SEIU and partisan hacks like Media Matters have tried to spin away the Gladney beating. They would have you believe a 130 lb diabetic, recovering luekemia patient, picked a fight with men almost twice his size. The police report puts an end to that lie.

The police report is unambiguous about what happened on August 6th in St. Louis. The White House, through SEIU, did indeed ‘punch back twice as hard.’ What is ambiguous, however, is why prosecutors haven’t pursued the charges against SEIU. As you will learn, there is a lot to suggest that Bob McCulloch, the St. Louis DA, is trying to cover-up SEIU’s crime. Stay tuned as the truth comes out.

From KCRA

Sacramento CA - A state employee claims he was assaulted Thursday by four or five union members at a Service Employees International Union Local 1000 meeting. The man also claims that union leaders ordered him to be assaulted. "They were ordering them to get me thrown out, saying, 'Throw him out of here, throw him out of here. Beat the hell out of him.'" Ken Hamidi said.

However, union leaders told a different version of what happened. "He came to a union meeting with another woman who had film equipment. He was asked to leave," Yvonne Walker, President of SEIU Local 1000, said. "When he refused, he became abusive to members of our staff. He actually physically assaulted a couple of our staff people."

Shortly after the incident, Hamidi was taken to a local hospital for treatment of cuts to his head and face. Hamidi is an outspoken critic of the union. He hosts a cable access show that regularly criticizes leaders of SEIU. Hamidi admits that police have escorted him out of previous union meetings. It's unclear if any criminal charges will be filed. "The statements we received kind of conflict about who started it and who provoked it," Sacramento police Sgt. Norm Leong said. Both sides said they want to press charges and are hopeful that the district attorney will determine who started the fight.

DEMOCRAT RAT CRIME SCENE
Most of you are not old enough to remember how it was when unions ruled the economy of this country. Taken in that larger historical context, what is happening right now with Obama, ACORN and SEIU is terrifying. If this coalition cannot be resoundingly crushed before its tentacles are in every aspect of our society, it could very well bring this nation down. The unions have no reservations about placing all  Americans in peril. Twice before they struck when we were most vulnerable - they seldom strike when things are going good -  they reserve their real ugliness for hard times and that always makes matters infinitely worse for all of us. They shut down the auto industry during the Depression. They shut down the railroads during the short post WWII recession in the early 50's and they murdered the steel industry. This SEIU move is labor's attempt to unionize the health care industry knowing they have a willing ally in the White House and a burgeoning demographic of people who will need lots and lots of care and soon -  baby boomers -  who will be loathe to endure strikes. It must be stopped now -  in 5 years it will be too late. And once they control that - they can control everything else.

That's what this 'health care' debate is really about - controlling every last detail of your life.
