Let's hope we never lose the ability to laugh, even at ourselves. Hmm, especially at ourselves. That's something I fear most about out elites, libs or cons, they can't laugh, except in a condescending way, never at themselves.

I've been thinking about this reply for days.
It's NOT offensive in the least.
Sometimes, revealing the ugly can make great changes.
Upon small minds and greater truths.
Consider Mark Twain.
He put the sour spittle of racists in the face of good-hearted people around the globe.
And did it with a smile all the while.
No, Jim, not offensive by one connotation of Webster's Collegiate - to offend.
But rather another connotation - to take initiative, to go on the march.

I dunno Steel the word hurts feelings and I think hurt feelings is synonymous with offensive.
So even though I am occasionally abused by it I would rather not hear it.
On the other hand.
If PEOTUS Obama turns out as bad or worse than Carter I might change my mind.
