At an event at a Boca Raton synagogue, Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) said that the United States should let Russia invade Georgia. Beginning at the 3:50 mark in the above YouTube video, recorded by Pamela Geller of the blog Atlas Shrugs, Nadler says:
We have not been willing to put our priorities properly. We have not been willing to say ... "Hey Russia, we won't expand NATO into the Ukraine and Georgia, right next to your borders, if you cooperate with us on Iran." ...
I think Iran and Israel are a hell of a lot more important than expanding NATO to Russia's borders. Why should we? What do we need it for?
Someone in the crowd says: "Because they invaded Georgia."
Nadler retorts: "So let 'em invade Georgia. It's right next to them. Would we tolerate a foreign--a Russian army in Mexico? Which is more important to us Georgia or Israel, frankly?"
Another voice in the crowd asks Nadler: "What is more important to us Czechoslovakia or Austria?"
"That's a completely separate kind of question," Nadler replies.

A new poll on Monday showed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama gaining ground among Jewish voters, widening the gap to 40 percent against his rival, Arizona Senator John McCain.
The Washington Post reported that its Post-ABC News tracking poll found Obama leading 70%-29% among Jewish voters, a lead similar to the one former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry enjoyed in 2004, when he held a 74-25 percent advantage over George W. Bush.
Jews really should know better - they have heard this all before - many times. Nadler was an early Obama supporter and is easily one of the most liberal Democrats in Congress. The other day, Barney Frank promised to cut defense spending by 25%. Both modern day Judas Iscariots and their new black Messiah, Barack Obama, has promised to cut spending for anti-missile systems, future combat systems and to reduce the active military personnel roster while also vowing to create a 'civilian security force' equal in number AND power. If you know someone who is entertaining voting for Obama, please, call them one more time today and explain how doing so will set this nation back decades in terms of national security - if we're lucky.

I can see no logic in voting Democrat.

Somethin's been mulling around my brain for awhile ...
Why in THE hell are there so many liberals - socialists - progressives - whatever you call them.
It's because they could NEVER be successful in a system based on meritocracy or capitalism.
They ONLY way they can attain power is to be the sneaky snakes they are naturally - going behind people's backs, lying, cheating, obfuscating, stealing, back-stabbing etc etc etc.
That all comes natural to 'em.
Politics is the only way they can achieve anything.
In the real world they are roadkill.
That is why they HATE capitalism.
They really are oppressed - but it is the oppression of their own fears, the reality of their own inadequacies and their genetic predisposition to failure that keeps them down and capitalism has little to do with it.
They refuse to accept that - they reject the notion that it's their own shortcomings that are responsible - instead they blame the risk-takers and achievers for their impoverishment - both moral and economic.

I just want it to be Wednesday.
Then I want to watch as Obama starts wondering why his good buddies Reid and Pelosi aren't sticking up for all his great plans. They will not get along for long.

Reid and Pelosi had such great plans to change everything two years ago. They accomplished nothing. With a democratic house and Senate, they could do just about anything they want, but I don't think they're capable. Maybe it will be fun to watch.

The thing is, Phoenix, Bill and Steve can afford to be socialists. In any case, as big business, they want socialism - they become part of the state and it kills the competition.

That is absolutely correct. Socialism is more conducive to breeding cronyism than is capitalism. Private monopolies and "state-owned enterprises" thrive here in New Zealand, and it is difficult for small businesses to operate with all the taxes placed on doing business in the form of consents, etc. If you come to do business in NZ, you better have deep pockets.
The rich will always be rich unless they are plundered.
