  VATICAN CITY - The Vatican's chief astronomer says that believing in space aliens does not contradict faith in God.

  The Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory, says that the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones.

  In an interview published Tuesday by Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Funes says that such a notion "doesn't contradict our faith" because aliens would still be God's creatures.

  The interview was headlined "The extraterrestrial is my brother." Funes said that ruling out the existence of aliens would be like "putting limits" on God's creative freedom. Link

  Back in my younger angrier days, when I was a militant atheist, my favorite challenge to religious people was to ask them if there was any possibility that life could exist elsewhere in the Universe. 'Of course' they would reply. Then I would ask them what if, one day, some lifeform actually travels to Earth - the assumption being that any such creature would be far more evolved than us by virtue of having conquered intergalactic space travel and therefore 'superior'. By virtue of Einstein's Special Law of Relativity and the restrictions that near speed of light travel entails and imposes on matter, such a lifeform would be millions, if not billions, of years older than we are. At that point, my unwary victim was usually in agreement. That's when I dropped the bomb. What if that lifeform was based on something other than carbon - after all, there are far more common elements to be found throughout the Universe and we know that with certainty, therefore it is not a stretch to assume there will be other lifeforms based on elements other than carbon - hydrogen for instance - the most common element there is to be found. My prey would still be with me but beginning to wonder where I was going with my line of questioning. I would suggest it is more than likely than a visitor from outer space will look nothing like us and would probably be absolutely unrecognizable to us. My victim would nod in agreement. I would then ask - if Man is created in God's image ...

... then in whose image would such a creature have been created? Spread the word!

Quite simple, really. Assuming God's being encompasses his own creation, the form wouldn't matter.

But the Bible states specifically that 'Man is created in God's image'.

That is rather exact in its meaning.

And if it is not exact and therefore metaphorical and subject to interpretation, then where does that stop - that metaphorical interpretation?

And if the Bible is God's word, are we to interpret those as need be or are we supposed to take God at HIS word?

The only way to fight them is to expose to the world--how Scientology has used physiological phenomenas as the basis for a false religion. How it has harmed families by claiming that innocent mothers and fathers are SPs -- when they lied about symptom re-stimulations to the world.

No where in Scientology will you find courses on any bible, there is no study or belief in heaven, hell, saints, angels, the devil, or even God himself. They do not study religion or even believe in religions. They do not share common values with any other religion. Their goal is to eliminate all other religions.

The E-meter reads your physiological reactions, the Ronbots never calls it that—they call it the “CHARGE” or the “MASS” or “ENGRAMS” OR “MENTAL IMAGE PICTURES” that you have in your brain—all meant to distract you from the truth.

Know this fact --- There is a law of Nature or law of God called “Physiological Reactions” that is the true secret behind Scientology’s Dianectic study technology.

Ron studied Physiological reactions more than most scientists and applied it to invent a new Religion.

Everything you do produces a reaction in your body and mind. Every time you read, eat, sleep, rest, run, etc. produces a reaction.
To tell your mother that you invented a new religion, because you discovered why you farted, is a good example of the scam that Ron pulled on you. He got away with it because the world did not see these reactions as they applied to reading. Or if some scientist saw and knew it—he did not protest it and allowed a Cult to claim it as their own new discovery.
If you want to destroy the cult, study your own reactions each time you do something—learn to read yourself and use your own power of obnosis to discover the real world within you.
