Evil super genius political mastermind throws a tantrum ...
PORTLAND, OR - “I talked to Senator Clinton last night,” Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico said on Friday, describing the tense telephone call in which he informed Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton that, despite two months of personal entreaties by her and her husband, he would be endorsing Senator Barack Obama for president. “Let me tell you: we’ve had better conversations,” Mr. Richardson said.
The decision by Mr. Richardson, who ended his own presidential campaign on Jan. 10, to support Mr. Obama was a belt of bad news for Mrs. Clinton. It was a stinging rejection of her candidacy by a man who had served in two senior positions in President Bill Clinton’s administration, and who is one of the nation’s most prominent elected Hispanics. Mr. Richardson came back from vacation to announce his endorsement at a moment when Mrs. Clinton’s hopes of winning the Democratic nomination seem to be dimming.
But potentially more troublesome for Mrs. Clinton was what Mr. Richardson said in announcing his decision. He criticized the tenor of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign. He praised Mr. Obama for the speech he gave in response to the furor over racially incendiary remarks delivered by Mr. Obama’s former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. And he came close to doing what Mrs. Clinton’s advisers have increasingly feared some big-name Democrat would do as the battle for the nomination drags on: Urge Mrs. Clinton to step aside in the interest of party unity.
“I’m not going to advise any other candidate when to get in and out of the race,” Mr. Richardson said after appearing in Portland with Mr. Obama. “Senator Clinton has a right to stay in the race, but eventually we don’t want to go into the Democratic convention bloodied. This was another reason for my getting in and endorsing, the need to perhaps send a message that we need unity.”
The reaction of some of Mr. Clinton’s allies suggests that might have been a wise decision. “An act of betrayal,” said James Carville, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton and a friend of Mr. Clinton.
“Mr. Richardson’s endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic,” Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week. The gory details ...
How positively delicious. Savoring the mental image of that reptillian lifeform otherwise known as James Carville spitting and foaming at the mouth. I have a lot of respect for his accumen but absolutely abhor his demeanor and lack of civility. I cannot recall a more disgusting political creature in my lifetime. Of all the Democrats on the current stage, he above all, was certain of Hillary Clinton's inevitable coronation and the likelihood of her demise must come as a very rude awakening. If there's blame for her poorly conceived campaign tactic of assuming she would win handily - it rests squarely on his shoulders. One can only hope that blunder sends him into retirement. Coincidentally, I received this in my email box ...
A former official in the Bill Clinton administration says a “superclass” of 6,000 distinguished people from around the world constitutes a “global power elite.”
David Rothkopf served as Clinton’s deputy undersecretary of commerce for international trade. He writes in his new book, “Superclass: The Global Power Elite and the World They Are Making,” that these 6,000 have the power to get big things done across national frontiers. He includes the following in the group, according to The Canadian Press:
- Heads of 120 governments that impact other countries, by war or otherwise
- Commanders of the most powerful militaries
- Key executives at 2,000 large corporations, 100 major financial institutions, and 500 investment firms
- Executives at international bodies, both governmental and non-governmental
- Officials of the largest religious groups, terrorist leaders, and criminal masterminds
- The most widely known bloggers, thinkers, scientists, academics, and artists
The 6,000 have the power to acquire almost anything they want — except time, Rothkopf maintains. That’s why they spend so much time traveling the world in private planes. “For private jet travelers, globalization is not an abstract concept by a day-to-day reality,” he writes. “Borders have disappeared and the world is truly one global community.”
But Rothkopf observes that this “superclass” is not helping the 2 billion people who survive on $2 a day or less, and unless those 2 billion gain a voice, globalization will be in danger. Courtesy of Newsmax.com
With the ensuing collapse and failure of the Clinton machine and its major components, such as James Carville, Lanny Davis, Ed Rendell, Wesley Clark and few dozen others to secure what should've been an easy ascendency, it is to be anticipated that this great global power elite's numbers will be winnowed down substantially.

I rise to defend all reptiles from any association with James Carville.
Not being a big conspiracy theory fan, nonetheless I think there is an elite of sorts that seeks to impose their view of how the world should work. But, of course, they do it from only the purest motives ad best of intent. Save us from those who would save us.

Ok. Let me get this right. The sole purpose of Christ being born was to be crucified and Judas was the catylist for the salvation of mankind.
Why is Judas villified? If Judas didn't fulfill his part of prophecy then Christ wouldn't have fulfilled his part.
Does anybody else see the poor logic applied to Judas' "betrayal?"
