Hillary Clinton Revealed
NASHUA, NH - Hillary Rodham Clinton, trailing by as much as 13 points in New Hampshire polls, went on a rampage yesterday against Barack Obama - ripping him as all talk and no action and blasting his votes on everything from Iraq to ethics in a slash-and-burn effort to deny him a victory here.
With her game face on just two days before New Hampshire's primary, Clinton hit the warpath by saying the country needs a "doer, not a talker" - then eviscerated Obama on lobbyists, Iraq, and ethics.
"If you're going to be railing about lobbyists, and then you have the chair of your campaign who is a major lobbyist in this state, that's a very important piece of information for voters," she said, referring to Obama's New Hampshire chair, Jim Demers, who lobbies for drug companies.
Clinton - whose inner circle is girding for a possible defeat in New Hampshire's primary tomorrow - ran through issues where she said Obama's words didn't match his deeds, repeating each time, "That's not change."
"If you gave a speech and a very good speech against the war in Iraq in 2002, and then in 2004 you're saying you're not sure how you would have voted, and by 2007 you voted for $300 billion for the war you said you were against, that's not change," she said.
Clinton voted for the Iraq war resolution in 2002, plus several measures to pay for it, although she now wants to bring the troops home.
Moments after her Iraq broadside, Clinton said of the war, "After 9/11, I would never have taken us to war in Iraq." Link
We are witnessing perhaps the greatest political implosion in modern American history. The Clinton machine seems to be unable to recover - and is poised to collapse under its own weight. I'd hold the obituaries for just a bit longer. The Clintons consider the Democratic party their own private sandbox and the nomination a foregone conclusion - and it is exactly that which may prove to be their downfall.
Until her miserable showing in Iowa, Hillary Clinton got by on sound bites and talking points - seldom, if ever, answering actual questions, and when doing so, more often than not, those questions were planted by her own staff. Now, the eyes of the world are upon her and she doesn't look so good. Not good at all.
Her fabrications regarding the Irish peace initiative, healthcare and other accomplishments, her and her husband's outright lies and misrepresentations concerning their respective positions on the Iraq war and her pitiful flailing attacks on her opponents reveal them both to be the monsters we always knew existed but were afraid to see. Opportunist creatures of infinite manipulation, undying self love and narcissistic devotion. Both will say or do anything to achieve their desires.
The massacre in Iowa and the seemingly certain loss in New Hampshire will provide us with a glimpse into the souls of both - if you can call what resides within them 'souls.' Massive tumors of malignant megalomania is more like it. She will almost certainly lose in South Carolina, too, which will drive the Clintons to do everything possible to wrest the Democratic party back into their control. Even if that means defeat in 2008. It was never about the party, or the country, or the people - it was always about them.

A reliable informant who watched the debates (Ruth) said that Hillary really came off looking bad. Said informant thought that she can not be elected.
I thought that Iowa and New Hampshire are piss-ant states in terms of electoral votes, AND there is plenty of time for the spinmeisters to gussy up her image and behavior before election time. Also the Republicans might fall thru their ass and nominate The Boston Strangler. <<

Pretty much agree with OINK.....
Iowa: a bunch of pig farmers....
NH: I SEE RICH PEOPLE.
And if you have never read Ruth's political insights, you know that what she saw
in Clinton is valid!
We have a long way to go before the 'fat lady sings'......
Still no "good'' choices and there will not be.....

Instead of using the Salt Creature's image, you should have used the scene from Beneath the Planet of the Apes where those mutants take their masks off in church in front of The Bomb. Or maybe a fade to Amanda Bearse doing that big, toothy smile in Fright Night...

Naaah ... Bomb: the Salt Vampire metaphor rocks! Soooo like Hillary! It appears to you in the form of someone attractive and then sucks the life out of you.
