A Woman with Balls
Leaders from around the world have condemned the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. VOA Senior Correspondent André de Nesnera has more in this report from Washington.
U.S. President George Bush described Benazir Bhutto's assassination as a cowardly act by murderous extremists who are trying to undermine Pakistan's democracy. And he urged the Pakistanis to keep the country on a democratic path.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said the subcontinent has lost an outstanding leader who worked for democracy and reconciliation in her country.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who held talks with Ms. Bhutto just hours before she was killed, said he was shocked by the development.
French President Nicholas Sarkozy called the attack an odious act. And British Foreign Secretary David Milliband urged the Pakistanis to exercise restraint and work for unity. Link
And then there's all the little creatures, scuttling about, trying to grab as much face time and convince anyone who'll listen that they are 'presidential.' But that's to be expected. What is not, however, is the obscene hypocrisy spewing from the mouths of all the pundits. Both sides are guilty of it. You have those who say we shouldn't have pushed so hard to bring Bhutto back and in doing so - democratic reform in Pakistan. Those same bastards were foaming at the mouth about Musharref's impostion of martial law. You have those who are saying that Pakistan is not ready for Democracy and then they demand to micro manage US aid to force democracy on Pakistan. You have those who scream for an all assault on the tribal regions between Pak and Afghanistan and then wax positively philosophical about how fractured that country is. You have those who are trying to scare everybody with talk of the Taliban or al-Qaeda getting their hands on Pakistan's nuclear weapons and insist we do not interfere militarily. It's hard to keep track without a scoreboard. These people are changing their positions faster'n a stripper changes costumes. Makes me sick. It's nothing but pure palaver and pander. Nevermind what I think about Benazir Bhutto, suffice it to say, I think she was far less than the media had made of her. BUT, she was the first female leader in a Muslim country, she promised to insure the extremists would never control her country and she vowed to work with us to fight the global war on terror. We have lost a powerful moderate voice in world filled with fanatics and zealots. And she had balls. She had more balls than any of these spineless wonks who find it impossible to hold a position longer than their breath.

No one knows squat about this story from why she went back to Pakistan and to how she was killed. They will probably exhume her body because of the various claims of how she died.
I want to know why Muslims insist on crowding forty-deep in throngs around a casket and banging it all around. How disgusting.

This picture inspired me to go put some kohl around my eyes like she has. I looked like a whore who'd just been scared witless. Why do those women look so hot with their eyes all blacked-up?
