Another Missile Crisis?
Taiwan to Test Missile Capable of Hitting China
Taiwan plans to test-fire a missile in September that has the capability to reach China's southern coastal provinces, Taiwanese online newspaper ET Today said, citing unidentified military sources.
The Hsiung Feng III, or Brave Wind III, missile has a range of 600 kilometers (392 miles) and is accurate to within less than one meter, the Taipei-based, Chinese-language online paper said on its Web site today. The missile was developed by Taiwan's Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology, the report said.
The Hsiung Feng III has been in development for 10 years and was successfully test-fired in 2004 and 2005, according to GlobalSecurity.org. The missile's range is 300 kilometers, still enough to hit China, according to GlobalSecuritiy.org.
Taiwan split from the mainland in 1949 when the Kuomintang fled the Communists of Mao Zedong. China has said it will take the island -- separated from the mainland by the 180-kilometer wide Taiwan Strait -- by force should it declare independence. Chen said on Jan. 1 China has installed 784 missiles that target Taiwan. Link
Here's some background stats. Here's the scoop.

Now we have the makings of a Musical Trio: North Korea, Iran & Taiwan, singing "Suicide Is Painless".

New version of Chess? The S.E. Asian Chess?
This is a great example of how the 'need' to save face can wipe an entire race off the planet. What horrible paranoia it must be that saving face dictates whether one lives or dies. American individualism must be an incomprehensible concept to traditional Asians.....
Leader of country fires ballistic missiles because American President won't talk to him.
On to the next war: The Holocaust didn't happen so kill all the Jews who say it did.
Next: Democrats in the U.S. hug so many trees, the trees die and cause a mudslide that wipes out L.A.

I've been watching the news. Fox keeps having ALERTS about North Korea getting ready to fire off more missiles any minute. I'm like...fire the damn things already!
Now they're claiming the big missile that was in the air 30-40 seconds was aimed at Hawaii. ? 6,000 miles away. There's some serious geometry for ya. Or maybe one of those horrid word problems: If a train is traveling at 55 mph going east and another train is traveling 63 mph going north, which one will reach Hawaii first?

Good for Taiwan!!
They probably got nuke warheads from their former program. Now they can blow the CCP and Shanghai and Beijing into Blue Red Blazes when they come to open their post office in Taipei and turn Kaohsiung into a brothel for the PLA.
